Intel Core i5-4590 PROCESSOR

Intel Core i5-4590 is a processor released by Intel in the second quarter of 2014 and belongs to the fourth generation of Core i5 processors, also known as the Haswell architecture. This processor marked a significant milestone in Intel's processor development, offering an improvement in performance and energy efficiency compared to previous generations.

One of the most prominent features of the Intel Core i5-4590 is its four physical cores. These cores allowed for a smoother multitasking experience and handling multiple tasks simultaneously, which was especially beneficial for users working with demanding applications and tasks.

The processor's base frequency was 3.3 GHz, but it could reach up to 3.7 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost Technology. This made it capable of handling a variety of tasks, including photo and video editing, gaming, and general computing with fast and smooth performance.

The Intel Core i5-4590 also had 6MB of L3 cache, which was enough to improve performance in many applications by speeding up data access. It had a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 84 watts, making it relatively energy efficient and not generating excessive heat.

The Haswell architecture used for this processor introduced several innovations, including improved graphics performance and support for DDR3L memory, which reduced power consumption. This made it a good choice not only for desktops but also for small form factors and HTPC (Home Theater PC) systems.
