It has a sleek and elegant profile that measures just 17mm thick at its thickest point, and a form factor that makes it incredibly portable and easy to carry with you anywhere. The computer was constructed using Apple's unibody technology, which meant the chassis was made from a single piece of aluminum. This gives the computer a solid feel and high build quality while being light and thin. The aluminum also gives the computer a premium feel and elegant aesthetic.

Performance:

The computer uses Intel's third-generation Core processors, also known as Ivy Bridge. These processors offered outstanding performance for an ultraportable laptop. The 2012 MacBook Air had options with dual-core Core i5 and Core i7 processors, which were capable of handling everyday tasks and multitasking smoothly. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics are more than enough to power the computer's 11.6-inch display and are also capable of displaying HD videos and handling simple graphics tasks.

The screen is also large enough to provide a comfortable workspace without significantly increasing the size of the computer.

Graphics:

Intel HD Graphics 4000 is an integrated graphics solution, meaning that the graphics processor shares the same memory as the main CPU.
