Aruba 300<\/a> Series Wave 2 access points are entry-level models that offer high performance and an excellent user experience in medium-density environments. With 3\u00d73:3SS MU-MIMO capability, advanced radio management with Aruba ClientMatch, and integrated Aruba Beacons, the 300 Series enables a wireless digital workplace in a cost-effective way.<\/p>\n

With a maximum concurrent data rate of 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band (for a combined peak data rate of 1.7 Gbps), this entry-level model delivers an always-on wireless networking experience with the performance that businesses demand. It is ideal for cost-sensitive, medium-density environments across a variety of industries.<\/p>\n

The high-performance 802.11ac 300 Series supports multiuser MIMO (MU-MIMO) and 3 spatial streams (3SS). It enables simultaneous data transmission to multiple devices (up to two), maximizing data rates and improving network efficiency.<\/p>\n

The 300 Series includes enhanced ClientMatch technology that extends the client steering technology with awareness of MU-MIMO clients. It automatically identifies mobile devices that support MU-MIMO and steers those devices to the nearest Aruba access point with MU-MIMO support. By grouping MU-MIMO-capable mobile devices together, the network begins to benefit from simultaneous transmission to those devices, increasing overall capacity. These dynamic roaming policies, based on device types, help customers achieve the best possible WLAN performance in a mixed device environment during the technology transition period.<\/p>\n

The 300 Series also features an integrated Bluetooth Aruba Beacon that simplifies remote management of a network of large-scale, battery-powered Aruba Beacons, while offering advanced location services and indoor routing, as well as proximity-based push notifications. This enables enterprises to leverage the mobility context to develop applications that will deliver an enhanced user experience and increase the value of the wireless network for organizations.<\/p>\n
